Innovating in India
In Southern India, our local partner piloted an innovative new Child Tracking System. For the first time ever local authorities can record information about children’s health, school enrolment and other child protection issues. This will protect them from being trafficked and help resolve cases of suspected abuse and exploitation. The pilot paves the way for a fundamental shift in our ability to protect children from social exclusion, abuse and exploitation. Once rolled out, it could protect over 50,000 children in Northern Karnataka.
